A. BACKGROUND
- Are you a Nigerian French-speaking student or recent graduate?
- Are you 20 – 30 years old?
- Would you like to become an English Language Assistant in France for 7 months?
From 18Dec2023 to 19Jan2024, the French Embassy is accepting applications for the position of English Language Assistant to work in France during the 2024-2025 school year.
B. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be NIGERIAN citizens (permanent residents of France are not eligible for this program).
- Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age by the start of the program.
- Candidates must have completed their secondary education in NIGERIA.
- Candidates must be enrolled at a university or have graduated within the last 2 years.
- Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of university studies at the time of application.
- A minimum B1 proficiency level in French (i.e. intermediate level) is required.
- Candidates must be proficient in English.
- Candidates should preferably be single (as the salary of an assistant is not adequate to support dependents)
Important : Pre-selected candidates will be contacted for an interview (physical or online) in one of the following locations depending on the city closest to your place of residence:
- Institut français du Nigeria in Abuja or
- Alliances Françaises in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, Kaduna, Owerri, Ilorin, Kano, Jos or Maiduguri.
